Better than a book nook! I like to call them Faerie Apartments, (but you can call it a Gnome Home, Book Building, Tome House, or Library Lair...I guess it depends on what tiny mystical creature will be moving in. Unlike a book nook, these book buildings don't necessarily have to be snuggled on a bookshelf, they can be displayed alone and viewed from all sides--even handled while in use.
I use salvaged books--rescued from the recycling center. I carve out the inside to create space for little rooms which I decorate with found objects and lights. Human-folk are forbidden from opening the rooms, but you can sneak a peek through the windows.
Options include solar powered lights, candelabra-type light (like Christmas villages use), or battery powered lights. All of the above lighting options are integrated into the design of the building, with hidden accessibility.
Please note that each Book Building is a one of a kind piece of art. No two will ever be alike. Because of this, these prices are estimated to give you an idea of what to expect.
Custom orders are welcome--theme, colors, type of building, house number, etc.--please feel free to message me with any questions.

Custom painted just for you in the style pictured (the specific paintings in the photo have already sold).
Remember to include your choice of letters in your order (each letter is a separate canvas).
You might want to spell out a whole name, or a monogram (3 initials of individual, or 1 to stand for family monogram). Or get a fun text abbreviation--(OMG, ROFL, STFU, TGIF, WTAF, etc).
Ready to hang as is, or frame with your own store-bought frames.
Each piece is signed on the front. and titled, signed, and dated on the back.
mini book-page wreath
6" wreaths made from vintage book pages.
The "ribbon" is made from salvaged materials--usually belts--I like the look of leather with the old paper.
Wire hanger included.
